An account is required to save conversations. Chats are stored in Ramea's PostgreSQL database, and provider API keys are encrypted at rest. When you ask for a reply, the selected path is sent through OpenRouter to the model's provider. A short excerpt of your first prompt is also used to generate a chat title.
Saved chats remain until you delete them. Temporary modes expire messages after one hour, 24 hours, or server-session cleanup. Ramea has no conversation-training pipeline or product analytics integration; model providers have their own data policies.
You can delete conversations in the app. Account deletion is not currently available as a self-service action. Review the current policy pages before sharing sensitive information.

What is Ramea?
Ramea is an AI chat app where one conversation can grow in several directions. Ask a question, explore an alternative, and return to the original whenever you want.
What is a branch?
A branch is another way to continue from an earlier message. It keeps the context leading up to that point, then follows your new question.
Does creating a branch delete the original conversation?
No. Creating a branch adds a new path. The original messages and other paths remain available unless you delete them.
Which AI models does Ramea use?
Ramea offers text models available through OpenRouter. Choose a model in the app and connect your own OpenRouter API key. Model availability and provider pricing can change.
How are my conversations stored?
Saved conversations belong to your account and are stored in the application's database. You can delete a conversation or choose a temporary-message mode. Your provider API key is encrypted before it is stored. Read the Privacy Policy.
